The classic white 1940’s two-story residence our studio occupies has been our home since its foundation in 1970. The owner of the building was a dancer in her youth, and in her younger years, she converted a large section of the home into a ballet studio.
The rehearsal space has mirrors, bars, and a new (2007) marley dance floor – the same flooring found in the studios of the famed Joffrey Ballet School in New York.
The studio’s lobby and sitting area is roomy enough for comfortable chairs in which parents and prospective students may view classes. A curtain hangs between the sitting area and studio that may be drawn for class privacy, or open for class viewing.
A dressing room available to students between classes holds several mirrors, clothing racks, and a restroom.
Our office is also on location, frequently attended by our administrator.
